Liberals still can't get over it that George Bush kicked Al Gore's
*****!!!
Bush won the first count, Bush won the automatic recount, Bush won the
third count, the US SC puts an end to the fourth selective recount
ordered by the all left-wing liberal FL SC in four heavily democrat
counties ONLY, all the while the Gwhore team was trying to get
military absentee ballots THROWN OUT because Liberals HATE the
Military. Oh, but Bush stole the election!
Election Stats:
Counties won by Gore: 677
Counties won by Bush: 2,434
Population of counties won by Gore: 127 million
Population of counties won by Bush: 143 million
Square miles of country won by Gore: 580,000
Square miles of country won by Bush: 2,427,000
States won by Gore: 20
States won by Bush: 30
Average Murder per 100,000 residents in counties won by Gore: 13.2
Average Murder per 100,000 residents in counties won by Bush: 2.1
Liberals constantly make asses of themselves!
--
Left-wing liberals are EVERYTHING they accuse the right of being. They
are mean, vicious, hateful, greedy, cold-hearted, selfish, intolerant,
bigoted and racist.

Chuckle. I'm not there!! I crawled out as soon as I could move. As I
said some sacrifices are too great to ask of anyone. TX? If the US
ever get to suicide bombers, they'll come from TX with hopes of going
to a better place. ;-)
Sorry about that pard.. Somehow I got the impression that you were nearby..
That makes your help on here a lot more commendable.. Thanks.. LOL.. you
may be right about the "bombers".. Some of these ol' Texas boys get some
very strange ideas.. All I want is to get my government back where it
belongs, in the hands of the people.. We got too damn many legislators and
elected representatives that have forgotten the constituents who put them in
office.. I confronted a group of state senators recently over the
re-districting mess, down here.. I told them " They work for me, not Tom
DeLay, Rick Perry or George Bush." You could have heard a pin drop.. and
there was over 300 people in the room.. Come on down.. I feel like I need a
lot of help from guys like you and me..

No, it's just that if your ENTIRE argument consists of calling someone a

The profanity in that case is not in calling him one, but in his being

Brother if you are that thin skinned and take alkl the little insults
and rants that personally you might want to consider a different, more
friendly forum. I fear before long you may be looking at a blank
group and have and extremely large killfile in your database.
Don't get me wrong, I have quite a few of the groups trolls killfiled,
however, there is some intelligent discussion even with the
occasional insult. Hell, if the Reps and Senators can't hold their

The "Electoral College" concept was designed for the sole purpose to make

distribution.. The "system" itself is not broken.. It works just the way it
was designed to.. That is not to say that there are no problems connected

More precisely,

T'other day, I heard an interview with a decent well-spoken citizen
of our Republic. He was expressing his support for the US war
effort in Iraq, which he called "helping them out." He had an
explanation for the violent opposition to US troops in Iraq: the
Iraqi people have never had freedom, so they don't understand how
wonderful it is.

If something fundamental to the very underpinnings of democracy is
broken, how in the world do you think we'd "fix" it? You need something
outside of the democratic process. I'm having a hard time to think
of anything that wouldn't involve violence.
Bush is rapidly learning that the people in this republic are more powerful
than he ever believed.. Our people are not fools.. I have the confidence in
our people to take this president to task for his crimes .. But .. first we
have to remain focused and make sure that he doesn't somehow manage a second
term in office..
It's not the people who are going to bring Bush down. It his the
establishment. His own military, intelligence agencies and state
department are aligned to take him down. He ignored them all relying
on Wolfowitz Perle and Cheney and their little Office of Special Plans
instead. and now that all the warnings and predictions of his
statutory advisors are coming true he seeks to blame them and leave
them holding the bag.
Week by week there will be a steady flow of leaks and outspoken
critics leaving his administration further illuminating his
foolishness and hubris.
Today a "Sr. pentagon official" leaked Bush is going to have to go
back to COngress for more money for Iraq and that they are currently
eating into July's money. Clarke, Lindsey, O'Neill and more and more
will shine the light on him.
The fed is going to raise rates before the election. OPEC is going to
keep gas prices high. And the UN will drag its feet to dig him out
till the election is assured.
He's united the whole world and most of his own government against
himself. Only the cronies and bought off will be standing by him in
the end. If them.

If you will notice, Retro.. the rats are leaving that sinking ship, one
after the other.. Bush believes that the Saudis' will lower those oil prices
before November, and they might.. I don't think it will be early enough to
affect the prices that much.. That is one of the things he is counting on..
Interests rates are definitely going up and we will see the economy plunging
again.. There still isn't the jobs that he promised.. Millions of Americans
are still out of a job and they will be voting with their
pocketbooks..Cheney said that Saddam was "toast".. well .. take a close
look.. Bush is "toast"..

I think they're going to screw him. He's got the
Wolfowitz/Perle?Cheney crowd openly talking about the need for
democracy to expand into Saudi Arabia, their shortcomings on managing
their people, etc. all the while locking up the next largest set of
reserves in the world in Iraq. The message is clear. We don't need you
any more.
And as Bush has so thoroughly ***** and alienated almost the
entire muslim world, the Saudi rulers can hardly be seen to be in the
Bush camp anymore. OPEC is going to screw Bush over for the election.
The good news is prices will drop in the next year feeding a surge in
the economy.

I'm inclined to agree, but mostly just because the story got out. The reasons
you mention are good ones, but could concievably be worked through while still
doing the autumn production increase, as long as the deal was kept quiet. The
Saudis hate nothing more than publicity though.

OOOOOOOOH! Is Greenspan going to raise the prime rate to 18% like
when Carter was President? I don't think a 1 1/4% prime rate is going
to cause a depression.
OPEC is going to
keep gas prices high.
Wait a minute. I thought the socialist spin was the saudi's were
colluding with PRESIDENT BUSH to lower gas prices? And doesn't the
WAR CRIMINAL Kerry WANT to RAISE gas prices?
And the UN will drag its feet to dig him out
till the election is assured.
What do you mean "will drag its feet"????? They RAN AWAY at the first
hint of danger. How is WAR CRIMINAL Kerry going to FORCE
"oil-for-payoffs" Annon to accept responsibililty for Iraq? Curse him
in FRENCH?
He's united the whole world and most of his own government against

Yah, it's all over. Better buy your WAR CRIMINAL Kerry Inaugural Ball
tickets.

No. Rather it seems to reflect the fact you aren't talking to enough
people. The reasons for the electoral college are as potent now as
they were 200+ years ago. There is no "general consensus" that the
system is broke - at least as to the electoral college.

It would be interesting to note the reactions of all the EC detractors
if, in November, Kerry were to beat Bush in the same manner as Bush
beat Gore. Most likely they would be touting the praises of the EC in
that circumstance. But what could one expect from hypocrites?
