Lieberman: One last time |
It's confirmed. Lieberman is a Republican, and cut from
the exact same cloth as Bush.
Turns out that a man heckling Lieberman's competition
was not only a Lieberman supporter, but a Washington
D.C. lobbiest & frequent Fox "news" guest. Amazing,
bringing up high-paid lobbiest all the way from Washington
just to heckle your opponent...

Considering that the republicans don't want lieberman to lose, I
wouldn't put it past them to pay someone to heckel his opponent

It may not even have been his doing. I've noticed the reich is desperate
to keep Lieberman. Primarily, I suspect, because actually having a Senator
tossed out on his ear for supporting the Bush war is going to make party
"discipline" a hundred times harder than it already is with Bush's polls
in the crapper.
Lieberman is losing support *so fast even his "independent" run may not
save him. The neocons are worried this could be one of those watershed
events that precedes the tidal wave. Maybe it won't but the potential is
there. Especially with the public wanting out of Iraq in huge numbers.

And, if Lieberman runs as an Independent against the
Democratic Primary winner, his days as a Democrat
will be over. He will be considered a traitor to his Party.
Any votes he got would get would be a gift to the
Republicans. He might as well admit that he's a
Republican and get it over with.

He'd be poison to Democrats in Congress and will
lose all party posts. This will cut him out of
a lot of power in Washington. So it would be like
voting for a Republican, and that would be a pretty
powerless Republican at that. What would be the point
of voting for Leiberman? Spite? Personal like?
One likes his position of getting us into the Iraq war?
In the end that will fail. Lamont will give the
Democrats everything Lieberman can and more when
it comes to support for women's reproductive rights,
and all that the Democrats supporting Lieberman claim they
need.
But we know Lamont won't toady for neocon schemers
and war mongers and won't fall for cheap lies like
Leiberman.
The problem with Leiberman is, he lacks good judgment
when it comes to war.
Lamont could do well by stressing that too.
Why elect an independent who has bad judgment on
war and won't be in any power structure if
elected anyway?

Leiberman has become the darling of all the hysterical, right-wing,
lying, anti-American radio talk show hosts. That's good enough reason
to vote him out.
