Object: Life Estates
A close call yesterday made me start thinking again about what to do with my
house once I am dead.
I have no family.
Anybody have any suggestions.
I'm considering a "life estate" to some child abuse organization.
The only caveat would be making sure that a friend would benefit from the
income of the house until she died.
She wants child abuse or animals included.

Talk to an attorney - that's an easy thing to set up.

"So much blood has been shed by the Church because of an omission from the Gospel: "Ye
shall be indifferent as to what your neighbor's religion is." Not merely tolerant of it,
but indifferent to it. Divinity is claimed for many religions; but no religion is great
enough or divine enough to add that new law to its code."

Yup, in any event. Probate bad.
