Lisa McPherson murder case settled |

There's a gag order in place but those never hold for very long
since Scientology always violates the conditions abrogating the
agreement allowing all sides the freedom to talk.

That poor girl.
The best settlement would have been Jentzsch and Miscavige finding new
butt-buddies in Attica.

At least Miscaviage and Mike Rinder didn't get away with killing her
entirely. The legal shenanigans and the follow up racketeering acts
that involved private investigators, police, and the blackmailing of
Joan Woods the medical examinor all must have cost them a couple of
hundred million bucks. (It was worth it since they found blackmailable
materials that turned millionare Robert Minton which also put a stop
to the dissemination of the movie "The Profit" and which shut down
the Lisa McPherson Trust.)
The criminal charges would have cost them $50,000. Civil punishment
in the wrongful death suit would have cost them $80 million. Instead
they used the opportunity to racketeer costing them a couple of hundred
of million bucks which bought them some benefits they believe was well
worth the cost -- but at the additional cost of dragging it out and
getting their core crimniality exposed in large numbers in various
news outlets.
