reluctantly baited it. Velma let them know the Ghost of The Phantom
was coming, and Fred pulled the trigger on his latest Rube Goldberg
contraption. Unfortunately, the pulley holding the rope got stuck, and
the trap did not activate until The Phantom had already passed.
Strangely enough, the trap caught Shaggy & Scooby as they fled back
toward their hiding spot. It threw them into the air-and they landed
right on The Phantom's back! AHA! Caught!

Fred pulled off the mask to reveal that the Ghost of The Phantom was
actually Mr. Miller, vice president of the bank. He had been
embezzling. Velma explained that Miller had created the disguise to
fool the bank's security cameras. And he would have gotten away with
it, if it weren't for those meddling kids.
