London's Madam Tussaud's Creates Religious Scandal! |
London's "wax museum" Madam Tussaud's
(http://www.madame-tussauds.co.uk/) has created something of a scandal
by putting together a nativity scene using modern celebrities. So much
so that it was recently defaced by yet another cowardly Christian
(http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/4090831.stm).
Mary and Joseph are the museum's wax effigies of David and Victoria
Beckham (Beckham is an ex-star of Manchester United soccer club,
ex-England captain and now playing for Spain's Real Madrid, his wife is
ex-"Posh Spice" of the Spice Girls).
The three so-called wise men are played inexplicably by George W. Bush,
Tony Blair and the Duke of Edinburgh, and Kylie Minogue is an Angel!

Disgusting! How dare they defile the images of such precious human
beings (Becks & Kylie) by using them as religious symbols.

Definitely a mistake to cast GW as a wise man. King Herod would be
more in keeping with his character. The baby slayer.
