Undersecretary of Defense Eric Edelman is a traitor. How dare this
pompous
little man that could not even be confirmed in the Senate attack Senator
Clinton for doing her job? Unlike lickspittle Republican Senators and
Congressmen and women, some Democrats do what they were elected to do by
questioning and investigating how little pimps like Mr. Edelman are doing
their jobs. If Mr. Edelman and his ilk are outraged at the very thought
of
someone turning a bright light on the dark corner where they reside, they
must be afraid of what that light will reveal.

That just reflects their warped little leader's Manichaean "If your not
with us, you're with the terrorists." I can't believe that they are
attacking her like that already. It's going to be a long year and four
month's.

Secretary Gates is far from a statesman or a real patriot, but at least
he
is not a lying piece of tripe like his predecessor. How low our
expectations
have become when a partisan mediocrity is an improvement. But to allow a
partisan hack like neo-con Eric Edelman to hold an office in our defense
department is indefensible. If the Democrats roll over and take this
attack,
then they are done. Finished. Caput.

The Democrats need to take a page out of the Republican playbook. They
need
to stand shoulder-to-shoulder, side-by-side and united against this
partisan
attack on one of their own. Like Hillary or not, she does not deserve
this
"Swiftboat" style attack and it cannot be allowed to stand.

They better start fighting back.

Clinton has. She told them off royally. So did other
Democrats.

You don't have to like Senator Clinton, I don't. You don't have to want
her
as the Democratic candidate for president, I don't. You do have to
believe
that when an attack of this nature, by a little lickspittle Republican
hack,
is made against a Democrat, any Democrat, it is an attack against the
rights
and freedom of all Americans.

Exactly.

And, Edelman was too big of a cowards to reply to
what Clinton write to him. He danced all around it.

This disgusting attack has Karl Rove's greasy fingerprints all over it.
How
long will this country allow such tactics, such disgusting attacks, and
people like Karl Rove and Eric Edelman to rule our country? How damn
long?

Rove and Edelman and those like him are disgusting lying little sacks of
you know what. The sooner we're rid of that tribe the better.

I wonder how much damage Cheney and Rove can
do while Shrub is having his brains examined.
