Marriage: The way God intended |
http://headlines.agapepress.org/archive/10/122006h.asp
....An Ohio pastor says it's better for children, and for society as a whole,
if families are raised the way God intended for them to be raised: in the
context of a traditional marriage. Pastor Rod Parsley, founder and president
of the Center for Moral Clarity, says he witnesses the benefit of marriage
every day. "I see the value of marriage through children who are becoming
all that God intended them to be because of two essential kinds of love --
that of a mother and that of a father," says Parsley. "I have no doubt
that's the way God planned it." The pastor says he was encouraged by the
Supreme Court's refusal this week to hear the final in a long list of
challenges to the federal Defense of Marriage Act because he believes
voters, not the courts, should define marriage. The high court's decision
not to hear arguments in Smelt v. Orange County upholds states' rights to
ban homosexual "marriages" from other states. Voters in eight states --
Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia,
and Wisconsin -- will be considering constitutional amendments on November 7
that define marriage as the union of one man and one woman. Currently,
another half dozen have similar legislation or voter initiatives pending
between now and 2009. Since 1998, 20 states -- with an average of 68 percent
approval -- have passed constitutional amendments defending traditional
marriage. [Jody Brown]

Funny how the lastest census data, says that the majority are now
unmarried.
But some quacks pretend they are still in the 1800s.
Cute but illrelevant!!
america is full of satan and sin. from children born out of

The Quran is very clear at to what the fate of homosexuals should
be.
That may be for your backwater theocratic slime pit, but it doesn't
apply to the rest of the world.
Parts of Oklahoma City (where the morpher currently calling himself
"islamicfaction" is posting from) are indeed backwater theocratic
slime pits, but there are quite a few Oklahomans who *aren't*
addicted Jeezoids.
He's in Oklahoma? Well in that case I've forwarded his e-mails to the FBI.
He seems to be advocating the overthrow of the United States by his fanatic
religious cult. Perhaps they'll take an interest.
Could be, considering their experience with Tim McVeigh. (As an ex-Tulsan,
all I can say is that Tulsa's had enough to put up with, thanks to Oral
Roberts. Maybe "islamicfaction" will be plotting to blow up the stadium in
Norman - with his attention to detail, probably during the holiday break.)

...An Ohio pastor says it's better for children, and for society as a
whole,
Pastors are hardly authorities on what is or is not best for children.
Neither are Godless, atheist, faggots......
There you go again with that ***** thing, Bobby. Why don't you just
come out of the closet? You'll feel a lot better afterward.

"Neither," eh? So you *agree* that Pastors are hardly authorities on
what is or is not best for children.
Sounds like common ground to me.

LOL. Hateful, satanic, uneducated, moronic bigots like yourself aren't
likely to make much of a good argument about anything.
Hey, what's up with that ellipsis? I know this isn't English class,
but Jeez Louise! You only know one language -- one would think you'd
know how to use it properly.

You overestimated it's ability by two languages.

According to the bible:
Adam and Eve, unmarried, had children. Their children, through INCEST,
had children. And so on.
Leave it to the twisted Right Wing to claim they know "traditional
marriage."

So fucking what?
Pastor Rod Parsley, founder and president
of the Center for Moral Clarity, says he witnesses the benefit of marriage
every day. "I see the value of marriage through children who are becoming
all that God intended them to be because of two essential kinds of love --
that of a mother and that of a father," says Parsley. "I have no doubt
that's the way God planned it."
So the best argument you've got involves a magical mystery man? Hmm,
that doesn't help your case.

Yep. When I need advice on how to raise kids, the first person I ask
is a pastor. LOL

That would be the one in which the wife is the property of the
husband, and the father beats the children with a stick, killing them
if they show lack of respect.
