PARIS (Reuters) — A leading media rights group called on Wednesday for
international firms supplying computer and online equipment to China
to take a stand against the Chinese government's censorship of the
Internet.
The Paris-based Reporters sans Frontieres said it had informed the
heads of 14 Internet and computer firms, including Cisco Systems,
Microsoft and Yahoo, about the Chinese government's efforts to stifle
freedom of expression online.
