Nov. 22, 2005 - Chinese are abuzz about George W. Bush's ride. On
Sunday afternoon, the visiting U.S. President spent more than an hour
riding his mountain bike, promising Chinese athletes who accompanied
him that "I'll give you a prize if you keep up with me." They
did; each received a pair of 'athletic socks with symbols on them,'
said Foreign Ministry spokesman Kong Quan, beaming as he recalled the
scene.
