You mean the torturers of Abu Ghraib, or Guantanamo?

Most especially them. Having to guard such filth must be an unbearable
experience.

And how do you refer to the American soldier's sworn enemy? Remember,
our soldiers don't make policy, they just comprise the casualty lists.

Freedom fighter!

Our soldiers should be in our country! Not so long ago we hung thousand
Germans for starting a war and invading other lands!

And how do you refer to the American soldier's sworn enemy?
As people. In this particular case, they are people thrown into a
gulag without trial, without justification, just on the sayso of one
man.
Remember,
our soldiers don't make policy, they just comprise the casualty lists.
When you invade other countries and kill tens of thousands of innocent
people, it is deeply hypocritical to whine that some of your soldiers
die as a result.

It's an extraordinary ploy, isn't it? Pure manipulation - and entirely
equivalent, as far as I can see, to the following scenario:
A gang of bank robbers grab the money and shoot their way out of the bank.
Innocent bodies lie everywhere. When the police arrive and stop their
getaway, the robbers put a gun to the head of the youngest gang-member and
shout: 'Let us escape with everything we've stolen - or the kid gets it...!'
And when the police reply that they won't allow any such escape, the gang
shouts: 'Do you mean to say that you *don't care about the lives of young
people*...?!?'
Katt.

As an American soldier who had fought the Iraqis, I call them
"humans."

Peace to all.
