MICHAEL Richards is doing a modern version of the Stations of the
Cross as his penance for shouting the N-word at comedy club hecklers
last year. The former "Seinfeld" star has quit stand-up and is
visiting Hindu temples in Asia on a tour sponsored by the L.A.-based
Nithyananda Foundation. "That night, when I was insulted and
disrupted, I lost my heart; I lost my sense of humor . . . I'm taking
time off to feel myself out," Richards told the L.A. Times. It's not
all spiritual. Richards is traveling with Beth Skipp, who played Amber
in "10 Tricks," a comedy about a brothel madam who plans to get
pregnant.
