In "Mere Christianity," CS Lewis described how he came to
believe in the God of the Bible by virtue of reason. Over
a period of years, Lewis examined evidence for God and
concluded that it simply made sense to believe in His
existence. Thus it was neither emotion nor superstition
that led him to God, but reason and logic. In other
words, his faith in God was arrived at by virtue of how
much sense it all made to him. Christianity answered all
Anyone who claims to use logic and arrives at the conclusion that god
created man, then women out of one of his ribs, that dinosaurs and
humans coexisted, and that god is a big bearded man who lives not in
space, but in our upper atmosphere... ought to be terminated on
account of sheer stupidity and the risk of passing it on.
You just described the Christian view. Quite absurd it is.
Hindus know that Paramatma, the Divine Supreme Spirit, is
omnipresent in a very large number of forms.
Name one, please.
The Divinity within you.

The Biggest problem with Hinduism is ambiguity.....they claim
everything which can be spiritually pedalled. Now I am hearing about
the "Divinity Within" from the first time. Well if that is the case,
why not come out as Hindus and denounce the violent 5 headed 6 armed
gods?
I know where Hindus got this concept. Unlike humans, Hindu Gods must
have more than one head and more hands because two is better than one.
But just imagine how inconvienient that would be. Even in Hindu movies
when the gods appear, the extra heads and limbs are usually not put to
use and are mere appendages.

Is this any more ludicrous than the Christian triad of three Gods in one?
