Oh, but it gets better. Since the 398 GI death occurred over a
population of 130,000, if the number of homicides in DC were to occur
at the same rate as the number of deaths in Iraq, there would have
been 1,748 murders in DC given its population of 570,898!
But of course Ann Coulter's lie does not stop there. Since the 264 DC
homicides occurred during a stretch of *12-months*, you have to
annualize the 398 death to get a comparable homicide rate. And since
It only took 9 month for Bush to kill 398 of our GI's, if you pro-rate

period of 12-months. Which means that IF WASHINGTON DC WERE DYING AT

We are conservatives. With that comes the ability to use common sense

hard to believe that two people (actually there's millions, which

Why do so-called "conservatives" continue to support a party which has so
overwhelmingly abandoned conservative principles? I simply cannot understand
why anyone who believes in limited government power and fiscal responsibility
can support the modern GOP.
The modern GOP ideologically has more in common with communism than they have
with conservatism. Its no suprise that they have allied themselves so closely
with totalitarian states while going out of their way to reject friendship with
democratic governments.
It's a shame Goldwater's dead. We need him now.

of "liberal" and "conservative".
Growing up in Mississippi in the 50's and 60's, those two
words only denoted one thing; I hope that is no longer true.
