What Mutt and John ought to do is pay $50 for the haircut and slide a
$350 tip under the table while camera crews aren't watching.

Exactly. Romney is clearly a man of the people. He only pays $300 -
not at all like those bloated plutocrats with their $400 cuts.
I, like any self respecting Brit, have my hair done by contractors
from the public health authority.

Pardon my ignorance, but what the hell is the difference between
Romney's $300 haircut and my $10 haircut?
My hair looks better than Romney's, anyway. Nyah.

I pay just $8.00 for my own and it looks just fine. What is it with
these people anyway? Do they think it's a beauty pageant? (NO! I do not
want to see Fred Thompson in a bikini!)

I had my hair cut by a genius once. I didn't know he was a genius at
the time, but I saw the advert in the local paper afterwards. He
managed a decent short back and sides with no obvious straggly bits.
It can only be a matter of time before there's a Nobel Prize for

Better yet, Romney had two appointments at $150 each.
He didn't keep the second appointment, but still had to
pay for it. So, while Edwards got something, though at
a high cost, for his $400, Romney totally wasted half of
his $300.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blacks_and_Mormonism
After the death of Joseph Smith, Jr., Brigham Young taught that
because blacks inherited the curse of Ham and the curse of Cain, they
were ineligible to be ordained to the priesthood. They were also
barred from participating in the Endowment or celestial marriage, or
from entering the church's temples. Young also taught forcefully
against miscegenation and against blacks holding civil office. Church
leaders gave many doctrinal explanations for this policy of racial
exclusion, the most common being that the souls of black men and women
were "less valiant" in the pre-existence during the war in heaven, and
therefore were cursed to be born as descendants of Ham, whose lineage
was barred from the priesthood. Several church leaders taught that the
discriminatory policy would eventually be changed, so that in the
Millennium, blacks would be able to fully participate in the religion
and thus enter the Celestial Kingdom.
