Politicians:
* Robert Byrd
When asked for an endorsement of Kerry's 1997 Book "The New Solder"
Byrd's response was; "I say most respectfully to you, I threw it in
the wastebasket after leafing through it."
* General Wesley Clark:
"The American people don't want another Washington insider who never
plays it straight. They don't want a follower who makes decisions by
licking his finger and sticking it up in the wind". "We need
leadership that will take responsibility in this country, and I'm very
disturbed that John did not do that. - on Kerry's comments related to
racial preferences. "I don't think people understand in this country
how politicians in Washington can say one thing and do something
else."
* Howard Dean:
"John Kerry is part of the corrupt political culture in Washington."
"I'm just incensed by his hypocrisy."
"A candidate of no principle."
"Just another inside-the-Beltway guy who's played the game for 15
years."
* John Edwards:
"What he's saying now [on trade] is different than what he did in the
past."
"I think he's said some different things at different points in time.
So I think there's been some inconsistency."

* Alec Baldwin:
"They voted on one article of impeachment already. And I come back
from Africa to stained dresses and cigars and this and impeachment. I

* Al Jazeera:
The network favored by Osama bin Laden as the chief venue for his
propaganda tapes stressed that although Kerry initially supported the
Iraq war, "he has suggested Bush's handling of the campaign is
'f****ed up.'" The al-Qaida-friendly network also notes, "[Kerry] says
excluding France and Germany from rebuilding Iraq was 'dumb and
insulting'" - and spotlighted Kerry's charge that the Bush Justice
Department has stigmatized "innocent Muslims and Arabs who pose no
danger." Kerry "made a name for himself on the Senate Foreign
Relations Committee, where he ... exposed the role of President Ronald
Reagan's aide Colonel Oliver North in smuggling guns to the Contra
rebels in Nicaragua."
* Democratic Socialists:
Kerry was hardly the first choice of our members. Most supported
Dennis Kucinich or Howard Dean in the Democratic primary elections and
would be very critical of Senator Kerry's voting record on trade
issues, as well as his support for the resolution authorizing the use
of force in Iraq; but the most important concern of our members now is
to defeat Bush,"
* Peter Yarrow:
Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul and Mary. Who recently performed at a John
Kerry fundraiser. You remember, during the song "Puff The Magic
Dragon" John Kerry made believe he was smoking a joint, giving the
impression that he may have also indulged in smoking marijuana. The
folk-pop trio has enjoyed a family-friendly image for decades, and has
even done albums of children's songs. Back in 1970, however, Yarrow
pleaded guilty to taking "immoral and improper liberties" with a
14-year-old girl. According to media reports, the girl and her
17-year-old sister went to Yarrow's hotel room seeking an autograph,
and the musician answered the door naked and made a sexual advance
that stopped short of intercourse. The 14-year-old victim resisted his
advances but did not shout or leave the room. She was 14 years of age.
Yarrow served only three months of a one to three-year prison term. In
1981, he was pardoned by Democratic Party President Jimmy Carter.
Today, it is all but forgotten. Anti Bush, pro feminist leaders are
often seen supporting this deviants concerts.
* Ramsey Clark:
"I think John Kerry is a great human being," Clark told this reporter.
"I knew him when he was a youngster in his 20s. I saw him as an
extremely caring person, an extremely courageous person, and a person
who was deeply concerned for peace and the well-being of other
people." Clark has been labeled a "traitor" for his habit of showing
up in countries hostile to the U.S. A lawyer, he has represented
accused terrorists and war criminals. Clark and Kerry were strongly
against the Reagan policy of supporting the anti-communist "Contra"
freedom fighters in Nicaragua. The policy, though opposed by a liberal
Congress, resulted in the holding of elections in Nicaragua, the
electoral defeat of the Communist Sandinistas, and an end to the
communist insurgency in El Salvador. More recently, Clark has been
collaborating with the communist Workers World Party (WWP) in staging
"anti-war" demonstrations against U.S. Iraq policy. Brian Becker, a
member of the WWP secretariat, helped organize those protests and was
the moderator of the Ramsey Clark press event on Haiti.
* Scott Camil:
Known to colleagues in the anti-war movement as "Scott the Assassin",
submitted a plan to assassinate politicians who supported the Vietnam
War. He has happily accepted an offer by JFK to join his team in
Florida.
* Planned Parenthood:
The political arm of taxpayer-supported Planned Parenthood Federation
today threw its support to Sen. John Kerry. It's the first time the
group has ever endorsed a candidate for president. Isn't good to see
our tax dollars at work!
* Tómas Borge:
One of the nine commandantes of Nicaragua's famed Sandinista
revolution and perhaps the most feared. Sen. Kerry was somebody he
looked forward to doing business with as president of the United
States. He's "a more sensible and balanced man, [who] would improve
relations between the U.S. and us."
* George Soros:
His huge speculative currency trades were blamed for the fall of the
Bank of England, and the crash of the Malaysian currency. In Mr.
Soros' mind, the sovereignty of the United States must be subordinated
to international law and international institutions, such as the
United Nations and its International Criminal Court. A world order
based on the sovereignty of states, say Mr. Soros, cannot take care of
our common human interests because the principle of sovereignty stands
in the way.
