Suspended with pay for a whole month. Kinda like George W. Bush has been
suspended all this month with pay down at his ranch. As long as both of

It's about time. He should have been dragged before a court right
after he planted the monument. It only goes to show how pandering to
the christians disrupts government, costs us a lot of time and money
and for what? So a screw ball judge on his bible bully pulpit can
force his religion on everyone.
They should fire all the Judges for being chicken *****. It never
should have gotten this far.

can think of denies that.
The catch is that Moore thinks his religion is worthy of government
support. His interpretation of the First amendment is wrong. Freedom
of speech, yes. He can speak his religion freely, but not under the
aegis of the government.
Could I erect a monument depicting MY beliefs alongside Moore's
monument? Could YOU? Probably not, and Moore would probably be the
first to rule against it.
A transition from favored status to equal status is not a denial of
rights.
OK, here we go: -> Sure, more than half of the people in USA believe
in religions that have very high regard for the ten commandments. And
most of them are good moral principles to live by. However, this USA,
this beautiful, free nation, allows for the "free exercise thereof"
religionwise, (plagiarized from the first amendment, to wit: "Congress
shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or
prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of
speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to
assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of
grievances").
Moore talks of freedom of speech when he cites the First Amendment. If
that freedom only applies to him and his followers, it is not freedom
of speech. He would be prohibiting the "free exercise thereof" by
others. He can't DO that.
HEY JUDGE ROY MOORE, the above paragraph is good: read it again,
repeatedly until you grasp it. Do you see the catch there? If YOUR
freedom comes first it isn't freedom, and you are putting yourself
above the law on behalf of a god that not everyone believes in. Dwell
on that.

You are marking us wrong on a question that asks our opinion. You

100 people out there in front of the courthouse supporting you, Judge
Moore. Kind of thin support, don't you think?
That means that only a hundred or so people lack the facility of
reality, and subscribe to your fantasy that this nation was founded on
christianity.

so you can accept it, ignore it or reject it, at my expense, not yours
or that of any other taxpayer.
Go ahead and worship whatever god you want. Go ahead and freely choose
your place of worship. There are many churches out there in this
beautiful nation to choose from. You can even build one yourself. The
first amendment says so. And it prevents your detractors from stopping
you.
BUT YOU CANNOT choose for everyone else by making any part of our
government to act as your pulpit.
