MONTGOMERY, Ala. - A moving company began preparations Wednesday morning
to move the Ten Commandments monument from the rotunda of the Alabama
Judicial Building to comply with a federal court order to remove it from
public display.
Patrick Mahoney, director of the Christian Defense Coalition, a group
fighting the move, said state officials told him that the monument would
be moved to another location within the building and that moving
equipment was already inside. ...

Better still, in the trash heap where it belongs. Unfortunately,
though it has been removed from the public Rotunda, it is still
in the Federal Courthouse. The anti-Constitution fanatics are
crowing that this is a "morally cowardly act" and they expect
the rock will be back on public display very soon. They're also
calling for a boycott of the company that was hired to move the
rock. "I think they're going to be sorry they cooperated with
this act," said the Rev. Rob Schenck, one of the protest
organizers. Talk about moral cowardice! You lose your case so
you take it out an some ordinary Joe, and destroy his livelihood.

I do like how one of the protestors admitted that the piece of granite was
his God. He shouted "Take your hands off of our God!"
Apparently his God is so weak that he can't do anything for himself.

WoooHOOO!!!
The public eyesore is no more !!! :)) The bill of rights and the rule of
law have beaten back the stone age stupidity of Moore and his minions of
ignorance. I hope this means we see much LESS of MOORE in coming days.
Maybe he can go back there and try to crawl under his rock, where he
belongs.
-- Queerter,
-- I believe the rock displayed the 10 Commandments of Almight God
more than originally planned. It would never have gotten so much public
view any other way. God has found a way to use the evil that men do for
His better good and glory, in spite of man's stupidity, and unbelief.
More people whom would never talk about God's Law have been
reaquainted with it and can see more of just how much we need the
10 Commandments of God in out daily lives. (Thanks be to GOD!)
I also believe that this incident has sparked a national awareness which
will generate more of the same when voting time comes around, in
other states, etc. Another sleeping giant has been awakened!
There are a majority of believing Christians in this country, and they
are going to do the same, every chance / opportunity they get!
Again, Thank you all use atheists that have made this event a
milestone in our history. Our Christian ethics will prosper even more. :-D.

So, for all the effort of prayers and beseechments to your "almighty
god", all it took was a couple of guys and a pallet jack to move your
wonderful rock from the rotunda to another room.
Some almighty god you got there, felchy.
You know, if you fuckers spent less time praying for your god to do
things and more time getting your fucking hands a bit dirty, you could
actually transform the planet into Heaven on Earth.
Oh, that's right, I forgot. You don't want Heaven on Earth, to do good
works, to make life better on this planet. You want an eternal reward
that you can't earn and that you can't prove exists. You pine for a
better place after you're dead.
You don't need a god to drill a well, or plant a seed. God doesn't send
electrons through the circuitry of the computer that allows you to make a
world-wide fool of yourself.
God never made a brick or nailed two boards together. Even the rock some
of your brain-dead cousins substitute for a god had to be carved by men
and paid for by other men.
Men moved it into the rotunda and other men moved it out again.
If you'd keep your sick fantasies to yourselves and do as Jesus commanded
you to, "Love ye one another", you'd actually accomplish something
worthwhile.
Instead you bleat and blather, scream how great your gods are, and then
cry and kick the pavement when you don't get your way. Children of god
is the perfect description.

Workers today moved the controversial Ten Commandments monument out of the
rotunda at the Alabama Judicial Building. The 2.6-ton granite monument was
placed in another part of the building out of public view. Outside the
building about 100 supporters of Alabama's suspended Chief Justice Roy
Moore, who installed the monument, prayed and sang.
---> Yet their god remained quiet, as usual.
