More homosexuals use assisted reproduction to have kids

Since 2004, when Massachusetts legalized gay marriage, the requests have
increased by 50-percent each year, according to a leading medical center
specializing in the procedure.
According to a 2001 survey, almost half of all homosexuals who did not
already have kids said they would like to be parents some day. Today, they're
not just talking about having kids; they're going to extraordinary lengths
to make it a reality. Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth says there's
nothing unusual about that.
"I don't doubt the fact that these homosexual couples want children or love
children; that's not the issue. What's at stake is what's best for the
children."
That's a question gay couples are ignoring, according to Glenn Stanton of
Focus on the Family. And he says that demeans what it means to be men and
women.
"That is basically to say that we don't need mothers; we don't need fathers.
All we need is their genetic material."
And, as is the case with many heterosexuals who deliberately deprive a child
of a mother or a father, it's a selfish sentiment.
"This is really not about the needs of the children or the desires of the
children. These are driven primarily by adult desire rather than by the
needs of children."
LaBarbera says that if the number of gay couples with families continues to
increase, it will eventually start affecting your family.
"The logical progression is that you see the push for homosexual adoption
and gay parenting, and then you have to have it taught in the schools, which
leads to more pro-gay parenting sentiment."
Which could eventually lead to the downfall of traditional marriage.

I count a number of lesbian couples as friends, several of which have
become parents via artificial insemination.
They're amongst the best parents I know, and their children well

Are gays 'worse' than single heteros? Is adoption by a gay
couple worse than sporadic fostercare or staying long-term in a state-
run youth home?
Gay couples.... can't change diapers? Help with homework?
Give drivng lessons? We 'normal folk', the heteros, have a pretty
dismal divorce rate. Most kids are gonna run into some trauma no
matter who their parents are.
