Object: My Conclusion...
It seems to me after having read what most of you have to say, that
atheism is not much of a commitment.
It seems instead to be more of a vague collective.
Although you all have reccolecting viewpoints, most of you think that
meat doesn't require a moment's thought -- it is there to benefit you,
the farmer, your family and is part of the background like the sea and
the moon.
You don't think it is worthy of considering if it is worthy of
justifying so you don't either way.
Ask yourselfs this question on abortion -- you say the difference
between a human and an animal is the brain and that is why you eat one
and not the other, but why wern't fetuses brang to the slaughter and
sold as meat?

Spring greens? Arugula? Vidalia?
I live in a small Australian town, surviving on a pension! I don't run an

and onion with a vinaigrette made from generic brand vinegar and olive oil!
I don't even know what arugula is!

Ah well, here you go. Mixed spring greens with arugula, baby carrots and

slices

of Vidalia onion. What will be your choice of dressing? :)

Spring greens? Arugula? Vidalia?

I live in a small Australian town, surviving on a pension! I don't run an
international restaurant in Europe. It's iceberg lettuce, tomato, carrot
and onion with a vinaigrette made from generic brand vinegar and olive oil!
I don't even know what arugula is!

LOL, oh dear, I'm sorry. I've got a great market by me with an excellent
produce selection - and less expensive than my local grocery store, though the
quality is FAR superior ;)

It seems to me after having read what most of you have to say,
that atheism is not much of a commitment.

It seems instead to be more of a vague collective.

Although you all have reccolecting viewpoints, most of you think
that meat doesn't require a moment's thought -- it is there to
benefit you, the farmer, your family and is part of the
background like the sea and the moon.

You don't think it is worthy of considering if it is worthy of
justifying so you don't either way.

Ask yourselfs this question on abortion -- you say the difference
between a human and an animal is the brain and that is why you
eat one and not the other, but why wern't fetuses brang to the

Okay,
You walk into a newsagent's and see cigars on the wall. You can enjoy
the smoke, or you can enjoy the not having one when you walk into the
fresh air again(if yes, there's always fumes to comfort you).
Try the same thing with meat and after a week or two you will notice
significent change. With a clean concious more things fall into place.
Or just make salad tonight ;0
Good luck!

On the wall? What, just hanging there? How bizarre.

the smoke, or you can enjoy the not having one when you walk into the

What a minute. Are these cigars burning on the wall? Wow, things are a bit
strange where you come from, aren't they.

Try the same thing with meat and after a week or two you will notice
significent change.

Change, how?

With a clean concious more things fall into place.

What does eating meat have to do with this? Hate to break it to you, but I don't
feel the least bit guilty about eating it. It's rather obvious that you have
some major issues on the subject though.
And sorry, hon, but we're having steaks tonight, roast chicken tomorrow and a
pork stir fry on Wednesday.

Or just make salad tonight ;0

See above.
BTW, why should I do what you want?
