No. Civilized people don't murder.
Then the USA is uncivilized, since we regularly kill our enemies in other
countries, and our violent criminals via Capital Punishment.
The USA *is* uncivilized.
Not only do they kill violent criminals, they also are one of a very
small handful of countries which excecute minors. (snip)

Dear Uncle Vic:
I restate my position, Civilized people don't murder. You fired back with
some nonsense about capitol punishment and government. This had nothing to
do with what I said. I did not say governments don't murder, I did not say
some people don't murder. I did not say no people murder. I said, and read
closely now, Civilized people don't murder! If you don't understand this
then obliviously you hang out with the wrong crowd.

So government is not people? I for one have never murdered. But I think
of George Bush as a murderer, even though he has never murdered one Muslim
insurgent. I think of Arnold Schwarzenegger as a murderer for upholding
California's death penalty. In fact, I think everyone who supports the DP
is an accessory to murder. And people who support Bush's Oil War are an
accessory to murder.
I don't believe I hang with the wrong crowd. In fact my views are further
to the left than most folks. I apparently don't hang with your crowd. You
don't have to agree with me, but it would be nice if you were to respect my
opinion.
