Neat new way to get FUBAR'd on wheels |
Saw one of these while I was looking at skateboards:

Shorty link:

For those not inclined to follow links, it's got the look of a hi-tech
skateboard, but where a sane person would have the traditional 4 wheels
this thing's got TWO.
On casters.
Each wheel can spin a full 360 degrees relative to the board.
I'm kind of divided right now between "Damn, that's COOL" and "er...I'd
kill myself on that."

Why not think both?

The part that thinks it's cool wants one--they're only a hundred bucks &
change =D
The other part points out that I've got inline skates, a skateboard, and
a pair of bicycles that all have dust on them...

Now tell me ... once a kid has gotten so good on this thing that he's
as safe aw I am on my feet, what can he use that talent for? Walking
on the outside of a small space station?
