For those of you keeping score, Rumsfail et al characterized Iraqi
resistance as:
Summer 2003 - Just some bandits.
Winter 2004 - A few hundred to a couple thousand "dead-enders".
Summer 2004 - As many as 5,000.
Fall 2004 - Up to 20,000.
Winter 2004 - About 40,000 dedicated, up to 160,000 kibitzers.
Notice a pattern here?

Earl claims "That must explain why the US Army reports that the majority of
resistance in Iraq are done by Iraqis."
He snips it when what the military says and the evidence shows proves his
statement false, answer with a meaningless phrase then gives a definition
which offers no support for his claim.
He should have snipped 1 above because it is the "established government"
they revolt against. The one imposed by the US.

Even if the US allows the elections (so much for it being their idea) the
USA will still be the controlling force in the country. The US will decide

You left off "But things are getting better." after each line but the
pattern is just as I "predicted" it would be when this thing started.

Odd isn't it. We just wanted to help them and aside from mass killing,
removing much of their legal system with nothing to replace it and the total
destruction of large portions of where they used to live we've umm, we've,
umm, LOOK OVER THERE, IT'S A PRETTY BIRD.

Those silly Eye-rakki people, why aren't they worshipping Bush?

Hmmmmmm, I figured you didn't know what an Eye-rakki is, taliban yang.
