Fred the new PM Allawai was employed as an assassin employed by
Saddam's intelligence service, defected and became a paid agent for
the CIA. And you would trust such a character?

I don't trust him; I just parse his sentences for you.
You're rapidly approaching the point where I won't trust *YOU* either.

What about "criminals and Jews who are targeting the people of Germany
and who are being supported by the remnants of Hindenburg's regime..."

What about them? Can't you even see that you're distorting what Allawi
said? Or don't you care? Is your other name "david ford", by any chance?

I can not believe that you buy the categorisation of atheists
(infidels, unbelievers, whatever you call those who deny Allah and his
messenger) to the same branch of humanity as criminals.

I don't buy that, you silly person. I merely pointed out that you're
playing word games instead of correctly parsing his sentence: he's
calling names against those "who are targeting the people of Iraq and
who are being supported by the remnants of Saddam's regime..."

Allawai said "criminal AND atheists".

He said a lot more than that in the single phrase which *you* are
deliberately trying to distort.

That's right Fred. He means YOU. Picture a
poster with Allawai's image with a finger pointing out to YOU.

Since I'm not one of "the atheists and criminals who are targeting the
people of Iraq and who are being supported by the remnants of Saddam's
regime and his sons Uday and Qusay who went to hell" I'm not terribly
worried about it.

Don't you know Fred, that in addition to hunting down all terrorsits,
imprsioning them in humane holding facilities (jail is un-PC I think),
removing a brutal dictator from power along with his bio/chem weapons and
production capabilities, rebuilding the nation's infrastructure, schools,
government services etc and preparing the nation for democratic elections he
was also supposed to transform a citizenry full of the most religiously
intolerant people on the planet (Arabs) into freethinking atheists? Yeah,

and production capabilities, rebuilding the nation's infrastructure,
schools, government services etc and preparing the nation for
democratic elections he was also supposed to transform a citizenry
full of the most religiously intolerant people on the planet (Arabs)
into freethinking atheists? Yeah, he really let us down on this one.

But Bush said "Mission Accomplished" before any of that was finished, so
No Fair! Besides, we fucked everything up when some of our people were
foolish enough to take pictures. We're exposed as the most brutal regime
since, well gee, since *never* in that part of the world. Why, our press
and our justice system have been shown up as the most repressive and
biased since, uhh, well, uhh, since France!

To me it sounds like a Fundie calling his enemies, who keep attacking
him, "atheists and criminals" because he wants to insult them.
Muslims don't think in terms of theists and atheists. Anybody who isn't
a Muslim is an infidel, even Christians, though Christians (and Jews, at
least in theory) get a break because they at least use a similar book.

So you prefer an Islamic translation. Infidel sounds like a phrase
that would be used by radical Islamists. He will strike (POW PUNCH

would deny Allah and his messenger.
Turn it around for a minute and imagine an Iraqi unbeliever (I will
call him Ali) who listens to a former president declare that atheists
are not real citizens, the incumbent president who favours faith based
charities, would bring in prayer in schools if he could. Would you not
find it strange if Ali declared apologised for the atheist excluding
president by saying he had no trouble in the president taking action
against any unpatriotic Americans be they infidels or not. Would it
not be all the more weird if the US president had been a member of the
Iraqi intelligence community in the way that Allawi has worked as a
CIA agent in the past.
That brings me to the twist you have done on words Fred. You twisted
the words to say "atheists or not". Allawi actually said "criminal AND
atheists" - not atheists who happen to be criminals. He categorised
atheists to the same branch of humanity as criminals. Lets turn this a
little bit more. If Hitler said "criminals and Jews" would you
apologise for Hitler by twisting "criminals and Jews" into "criminals,

Fred you are naive in taking at face value the stated good intentions

Leo Strauss.

Did he say anything about believers who are "...who are targeting the

layers "...who are targeting the people of Iraq and who are being

Depends on how you classify a man who brings in the Patriot Act, has
extrajudicial military tribunals and indefinite detention for

employed by Iraqi intelligence services and he was paid by the CIA. He
does have blood on his hands.

Bush hails new Iraq

http://washingtontimes.com/upi-breaking/20040628-121314-

2077r.ht

m ...
"I swear in the name of God Almighty to assume my official
responsibilities with honesty and dedication and to safeguard
the unity, independence, and territorial integrity of Iraq and
to look after the interests of its people," al-Yawer and Allawi
said successively with their right hands on a copy of the Holy
Koran. ...
Allawi vowed to strike with an iron fist at "the atheists and
criminals who are targeting the people of Iraq and who are
being supported by the remnants of Saddam's regime and his sons
Uday and Qusay who went to hell."

Let's see Fred Stone defend the Bush appointed unelected Iraqi
government as it strikes at atheists.

Why don't the both of you lying spinheads quote his complete
sentences? Taking tricks from Michael Moore again?

Better than taking tricks from Karl Rove or Leo Strauss.

What tricks? All I'm doing is quoting the man's complete sentences
instead of latching onto a single word.

And missed the point. "Criminals AND atheists".

And you missed the whole rest of the phrase.

Besides the likely fact that the word is a Christian translator's
version of "infidels", I haven't got any trouble at all with
defending it. The people who "are targeting the people of Iraq and
who are being supported by the remnants of Saddam's regime..."
then they deserve to be struck with an iron fist, atheists or not.
And I can just bet whose fingers will be part of that fist, too.

So you prefer an Islamic translation. Infidel sounds like a phrase
that would be used by radical Islamists. He will strike (POW PUNCH
BANG CRASH and all other sorts of cartoon bubble words) at those
who would deny Allah and his messenger.

And you still insist on taking a single word out of context.

"the atheists and criminals who are targeting the people of Iraq and
who are being supported by the remnants of Saddam's regime..."

No matter how much you want it to say "Criminals atheists or not" he
did NOT say that.

Read the above phrase again, that's *exactly* what your cite has him
saying.

That is not a list of separate groups of people that he's going to
"strike with an iron fist".

I gotta admit, I like the flamboyant way they talk. Arabic is
supposed to be such a great language for curses. :-)

Turn it around for a minute and imagine an Iraqi unbeliever (I will
call him Ali) who listens to a former president declare that
atheists are not real citizens, the incumbent president who favours
faith based charities, would bring in prayer in schools if he
could. Would you not find it strange if Ali declared apologised for
the atheist excluding president by saying he had no trouble in the
president taking action against any unpatriotic Americans be they
infidels or not. Would it not be all the more weird if the US
president had been a member of the Iraqi intelligence community in
the way that Allawi has worked as a CIA agent in the past.

That brings me to the twist you have done on words Fred. You
twisted the words to say "atheists or not". Allawi actually said
"criminal AND atheists"

"...who are targeting the people of Iraq and
who are being supported by the remnants of Saddam's regime..."

Did he say anything about believers who are "...who are targeting the
people of Iraq and who are being supported by the remnants of Saddam's
regime..." or doctors "...who are targeting the people of Iraq and who
are being supported by the remnants of Saddam's regime..." or brick
layers "...who are targeting the people of Iraq and who are being
supported by the remnants of Saddam's regime..." or teachers "...who
are targeting the people of Iraq and who are being supported by the
remnants of Saddam's regime..."? No. He singled out "atheists"
(infidels, non believers) as a group. Why Fred?

Because it's especially insulting to a Muslim to be called an atheist.

Makes sense - the previous Govt of Iraq was secular - Saddam and his
guys were obviously a bunch of atheists.
That's how fundys (in the middle east and the USA) think.
The USA has removed a secular govt. from the middle east - a chief
goal of Al-Qaeda.
I wonder if the current regime in the USA is planning on helping Al
Qaeda further?
They are certainly doing much to encourage the growth of terrorism.

Reagan already made Bin Laden the leader he is today (with training,
