I have put over a year and a half of research writing into it in my
spare time (between golfing and skiing, of course).
It is webtv hosted but http://www.stopthereligiousright.org directs you
to
the home page, where there is a TOC of history essays. Most of my
sources on the Christian history sections are primary, from the times I
am writing about.
The reason why I did it ths way is that it costs me almost nothing and I
can do my own HTML any time I wish.
The lessons are just how bad it gets when church and state are allied. I
have so far concentrated on the years of Constanine through Justinian,
the years when Christianity employed so much oppession and violence in
attempts to wipe out the classical world. The period is an amazing
turning p[oint in history and people havent been told the true story.
I also have some shorter sections on some rights movements (to be vastly
expanded in the future) which reflect orthodoxy's consistent legacy of
discrimination, bigotry and opposition to liberty and equality. Rights
movements such as women's suffrage and interracial marriage liberty are
touched upon. There is also a big lie out there about Christians and
rights movements. The conservatives are the ones who have almost always
been at the forefront of fighting the expamnsion of liberty. People like
Jerry falwell like to plug that it was Christians that helped but the
truth is that Conservatives like him were the enemies of these rights
movements. Historical revisionism is thick with misinformation and
distortions in the right wing Christian propaganda machine (Like the US
was founded on Christian principles which is wasnt. I ask "which ones"?)
I will be adding gay rights and abolition in the future. I have an
article comparing the Reich Office for the Combating of Homosexuality
and Abortion with the radical Christian Right's anti-gay propaganda. It
is too similar to be quiet about. I have not put this article in the TOC
becxause I need to finish it.
I also use quite a bit of scripture to make my points. (Time and time
again, God okays destroying other people's templers and shrines)
Gregory the Great ("jack up their rents until they convert") is next in
the history section. I will also be exposing the inquisitional and
iontolerant nature of the Reformation.

All I have to say is "Gay Rights - Never."
