Priest is horrified at finding a dead body in a church!
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/scotland/glasgow_and_west/5394398.stm
Angelika Kluk failed to turn up to work on Monday
A Roman Catholic priest is "utterly shattered" that police looking for
a missing woman have found a body in his Glasgow church.
Angelika Kluk, a 23-year-old Polish student, had been living at St
Patrick's Church, where Father Gerry Nugent is the priest.
A post mortem is being carried out on the unidentified body.
Strathclyde Police said that Peter Tobin, the man last seen with Ms
Kluk, was a registered sex offender.
Ronnie Convery, the director of communications at Glasgow's Roman
Catholic Archdiocese, said everyone was horrified at the find and that
Fr Nugent was "utterly shattered" when he heard the news.
'Defies belief'
Mr Convery added: "It is almost unbelievably horrific.
"The idea that a body could be found in or around a church almost
defies belief.
"Obviously, those most directly affected are shattered by this news.
"Father Gerry Nugent, who's been spending every waking hour for the
past week trying to help the police, has been asked to leave the
premises because the whole place is sealed off.
Police said Peter Tobin is on the sex offenders' register
"He's completely shattered by this news."
Ms Kluk was reported missing on Monday after she failed to turn up for
work.
Tobin had been doing odd jobs at the church and had been known by the
congregation as Pat McLaughlin.
Police said that 60-year-old Tobin had supplied officers with a false
name, address and age before vanishing just days after the student had
been reported missing on Monday.
The last known address for Tobin, who was jailed in 1994 for raping a
14-year-old girl and indecently assaulting her friend in Hampshire,
was in Paisley.
Police said the body was discovered at 2000 BST on Friday, after a
detailed search of the church premises.
Earlier on Friday, police revealed that the man last seen with Ms Kluk
was a registered sex offender.
Ms Kluk was on a working holiday to fund her studies at the University
of Gdansk.
She was due to return home on 2 October and had bought her ticket.

Very beautiful this time of year. There's a lovely cemetery in my hometown
that I like to go to on my lunch hour. Nice place to relax and read a book.
And people are just dying to get in ;)

But it ruins the "How many people are dead in that cemetery joke."
They are also huge profit centers for the FBS industry. (Fucking Body
Snatchers AKA morticians.)
The main reason that headstones are not allowede in many of them today is
because the stones increase profit margins on "pepetual care" That alone
makes a bundle for the place.

Since the body was above ground perhaps he was contemplating the
horrible thought that his god had started the ressurrection, revived
his first bod, then thought 'what the hell' and left?

Excuse me?
Haven't these guys ever heard of cemetaries?
Maybe they expected him to be Christ like and get back up three days
later...

Wow - There are a lot of sick cartoons on that site <book marks it>
Thanks!
:)
You might particularly like the one called "The Other Girls"
"No Survivors" was the sickest, and funniest one, I thought.
LOL - That's terrible <snicker> ;)

I really enjoyed that one.
Being a member of the emergency services - it's exactly the type of humour
we tend to enjoy at scenes like that.
I can remember turning up at the scene of a guy who stepped in front of a
train - he was spread about 50 yards along the track - and someone suggested
we should check his pockets to make sure he had a proper ticket.
Always cracks us up, that one.

My favorite was the line from "the New Centurians". "This one got banged up
a bit ma'am."

Angelika Kluk failed to turn up to work on Monday
A Roman Catholic priest is "utterly shattered" that police looking
for a missing woman have found a body in his Glasgow church.
Catholic Archdiocese, said everyone was horrified at the find and
that Fr Nugent was "utterly shattered" when he heard the news.
'Defies belief'
Mr Convery added: "It is almost unbelievably horrific.
"The idea that a body could be found in or around a church almost
defies belief.
You're right pastor, the notion that your god will "call to home" one
of "his own" in one of "his houses" does defy belief. But then, you
are probably as much a non-believer as I am.

The actions of the disgraceful Clinton and Bush administrations
make it possible for me to say without shame that I deeply regret
the day I put the uniform of my country. The freedoms that I was
willing to protect with my life are being lost. The America of
our founders is dead. All we are waiting for now is rigor mortis.

Have they never seen the graveyards around most rural churches?
