It will be very interesting to watch how human self-governance unfolds over the
next few decades. It can't but unfold on its own, and we seem to be headed in
so many strangely familiar directions. The decorating scheme has changed, of
course, but a house is still a house, a road is still a road, and death is still
what it always has been. Ignorance and hatred are as rampant as at any point in
human history, even with all this knowledge so readily accessible to even the
most common among us. Why do humans so ardently abhor the notion of "growing
up"?
