No child left behind in indoctrination? |
http://www.cnn.com/2005/EDUCATION/01/31/students.amendment.ap/index.html
reveals that "...more than one in three high school students said [the
first amendment] goes 'too far' in the rights it guarantees"!
I guess Bush is having a fine time with his new recruits coming out of
high school. Congress will be able to make law respecting an
establishment of or prohibiting the free exercise of religion;
abridging freedom of speech and of the press. He's already done an end
run aorund the right of the people peaceably to assemble during his
inauguration and they didn't even get to petition the government for a
redress of grievances!
No child has been left behind in indoctrination!

I don't know what is worse: The fact that they think it's OK to do that
OR the fact that the public is so stupid as to allow it with no outrage.

I heard a woman today claim that Shrub has "brought dignity and honor
to the White House". Religion rots another brain.

Perhaps she was referring to his not getting blow jobs in the White
House toilet? Either that or he actually is and Republican women are a
lot more discrete than Democrat women!
On the other hand, lying about weapons of mass destruction and starting
a war is a far worse crime than lying about getting blow jobs, so how
does she figure dignity is restored? I guess her assessment is based
on the "quality" of the lie?

From the context I'd say it's his claim to be a fundy. That's all
that seems to matter to some.
