Object: No embalming for the pope, eh?
Wouldn't it be cool if the crusty old body would burst open just as the
last of the viewers comes up, and a tide of maggots come pouring out?
Now THAT would be memorable!

And fake geniuine holy maggots would become a small but

consider eBay.

I think they have him on top of a refrigeration device, conveniently
filled with cold refreshments for the masses. Pun intended.
POPEcicles, anyone? How about an icy cold Diet Popesi??

Considering that his butt is on the device, that might not be such a
great request to make.

It would be declared a miracle! What is this mass compulsion to look at
a hunk of rotting meat anyway? Throw him in the hole and get on with it
already.

The pictures from Bush, Bush and co. kneeling in front of the Pope sure
gave a good view of the rotting process. Not looking too good. They said
that the body had been "prepared but not embalmed." I wonder if they
plugged up orifices, or put a diaper on?
These dark age weirdos are just too damn spooky for words.

Not looking good? What about the smell? The old dude must be pretty ripe

Probably not too much different from when he was alive. Those Pope
diapers, as everybody nose, can really reek havoc with the senses.
