Which is not surprising since it parallels the fact that religion, and
particularly religious fundamentalism, offer nothing but lies, ignorance and
wishful thinking

You being "mentally healthy" is strictly your belief held in faith and
not because of any evidence. I am glad you start to be a believer and get
off that materialistic kick. Now join us already worshipping the perfection
which is Jesus Christ, and become like Him in the process.

Or do what Frank does.

Glad you get something right occasionally and thanks for quoting me, but
you got your basic premise wrong, for it's not about what I do, but about
what Jesus does. I merely voice my interpretation of Holy Scripture. See
below refs. ..and please add them to your quotes.
Pastor Frank
The word "God" is not a proper name but a title of a position of
whatever is of highest importance in our lives. I.e. In 2 Corinthians 4:4,
Paul says that Satan is: "...the god (theos) of this world." And again in
Philippians 3:19, Paul says there are people: "...whose God (theos) is their
belly". Jesus tells us in Jn:4:24 that His "GOD IS A SPIRIT, and they that
worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."
Jesus explains further in John 14:6-10: Jesus saith unto him: "I am the
way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If
ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also, and from henceforth YE
KNOW HIM AND HAVE SEEN HIM."

Sex abstinence programmes do not stop risky sexual behaviour or help
in the prevention of unwanted pregnancy, a research team has concluded.
Which is not surprising since it parallels the fact that religion, and
particularly religious fundamentalism, offer nothing but lies, ignorance
and wishful thinking
Is that your only reason to debouch yourself, or just another one?
Why? - have you run out of excuses of your own?
Frank thinks being mentally healthy is debauchery.
Please tell me that he is correct on this one occasion!!
(Or have I got that syllogism reversed?)

"No Church" programs could do a lot of good however
Walk out of the Churches nbtil the leaders are prepared to sit down and
sort out their dysfunctional theology

By the simple expedient of discarding it, and growing up.
