I've never met an actual atheist. Just real scared
believers.

Hey, I've long suspected the same about religious believers.
Deep down, they must know it's all just made up. They're just
to afraid of reality to live without the fairy tales.

Keep repeating that to yourself. Maybe one day,
you'll believe it.

<begin nominated portion>
Tell me Dave, do you see a doctor?
If you were in a car wreck with your wife, and the EMT said she needed
to be transported to a trauma center immediately, or she would die,
what would your response be?
A. "Please hurry and save my wife!"
B. "Don't bother, since her death means that she will be seated at the
Lord's table all the sooner."
In all my years I've never met a Christian who in the end welcomed
death. Even though according to your faith it should mark the
beginning of paradise! I'm not talking about suicide, but just
letting diseases have their way, or not accepting medical aid.
You all have that will to live that trumps whatever you spout off in
church, since deep down you know this might be all there is.
