Is this for real? To deliberately feed kids with such outrageous lies? Have
they no shame? Surely they know they're wrong. A few samples:
"Evolution teaches that tiny changes in the particles that make up the
universe took place over billions of years and eventually the earth, sun,
stars, and all the planets were formed."
"That means if one thing evolved into everything we have today,
evolutionists think we're related to animals." (Humans are animals? Wow,
what a surprise...)
"Evolutionists think that when this explosion happened things got more
organized or straightened up instead of getting more disorganized or messy."
"For the DNA of a monkey to accidentally change to the DNA of a man would be
like saying I accidentally jumped over the Grand Canyon." (Interesting
theory. why don't we try it?)
--
It's just a huge mess of misunderstandings and lies. That anyone would
actually take the time to make a website to spread this crap is beyond me.

Funny. I could get the xaonon site, but not the creationevidence one.

Did I mention that I really hate Comcast? My internet connection is so
absurdly flaky... anyway, I put a copy of the image on my RPI account, which
should be accessible all the time:

Yeah, I know. I love the one that says "But I don't want to be a monkey!"
Leaving the pedantry aside for the moment, I just feel like saying "Sorry,
little Billy, but the universe doesn't care what you want. Suck it up!"

Have they no shame? Surely they know they're wrong.

The scary thing is, I don't think they do. One of my friends from school
just revealed that he was a creationist---he was the one who sent me links
to that site---which jarred me greatly because he isn't at all stupid. I
knew he was fairly hard-core christian, but he never tried to convert me or
anything, but still, it's frightening. Nobody is totally immune to nonsense.

Hey Doug,
What did you think about losing Mooch and what are your impressions of him
as a coach?
From what I've seen of him, it seems like he'll be a nice fit here in Detroit.
Although Millen taking a $200K fine from the NFL seemed pretty drastic. . .

Mooch is a "player's coach", and should fit in nicely, so long as the
ownership of the team doesn't micro-manage him.

I was sorry to see him go, and think he got a bit of a raw deal at the
end here.

I was happy when the Lions hired him. There are
many around here who think that Millen originally
wanted Mariucci for the job, and had just hired
Morningwheg as a stop gap until Mooch became
available. It'll be a fun game to watch on Oct 5.
Having been a Lions fan for 30 years, though, I get
kind of sceptical when I hear "this year we have
a new attitude" :)

I love the verbal maneuverings that creationists use to appear logical.
They make a bald-faced statement for which they offer no evidence or
proof whatsoever -- that an ape evolving into a man is equivalent to
someone accidentally jumping over the Grand Canyon. Then they deftly
obscure their baldfaced lie by saying, "Jeez, NOBODY could jump over the
Grand Canyon! SEE how ridiculous these evolutionists are?!" Somehow
they manage to turn their OWN ridiculous statement around, and *make it
look like EVOLUTIONISTS said it*! LMAO!!
