Now after 4 days......it is just absolutely unbelievable how ignorant and
downright ugly the average atheist really is.
I've said it before, and it definitively must be repeated here, you atheist have
absolutely no idea what you're talking about. You are overflowing with
stupidity.
A natural disaster hits an area, not a one of your atheist organizations has
offered help to the victims, and you sit back and criticize, criticize,
criticize those who have bent over backwards to help.
New Orleans had about 2 days advance notice, and you chide the country for not
having the NG stationed in place. The city is inaccessible due to flooding, no
communication, no electricity, and you spend all your time crying "wolf".
You dipshits really need to sit back and re-evaluate your priorities. I may not
appreciate your hatred for God, but I scorn you for your lack of empathy and
your desire to badmouth those that are doing so much.
Shame on you losers.
Thank you President George Bush.

Here's a clue: it isn't just atheists who are complaining, numbskull.
Atheists only make up about 10% of the US population, and yet it seems to me
that up to 70% of the US population is "sitting back and criticizing", and
more than in the area you claim is one of the more religious areas of the
US, i.e., New Orleans.
Here's another clue: I've given money to a number of atheist organizations
who aiding in the relief effort: the US Gov't, Tom Thumb Foodstores, the Red
Cross, my daughter's high school. The amount of atheist aid going into New
Orleans and other communities hit by Katrina far exceeds any aid coming from
Christian organizations.

New Orleans had about 2 days advance notice, and you chide the country for

You are a hypocrite. If you were really a christian you would be praying for
people instead of castigating them.

Why are atheist organizations not helping out?

What they need over there right now is emergency ration packs which
are easily transportable. So right now, as I write, half a million of
them are winging their way across the Atlantic paid for out of our
taxes. We oferred our help, that's what you authorities asked for,
that is what you are getting. Hope it helps.

But to whom? Everybody that was in the Superdome, convention center, and other
collection centers are eating warm homemade- style meals and drinking plenty of
water in air conditioning right now - in places all over the SE United States.
Certainly not in their homes, but cots in indoor stadiums, etc, like the
Astrodome in Houston.
Yes, there are still some people sitting on their roofs refusing to leave. They
clearly must have food and water, and are either stupid (which they showed
before) or have something they choose not to leave. Sure there are still a very
few trying to escape their roof tops, but the helicopters are scouring the city
for a number of days now.
There were some 50 pawn shops broken into with guns stolen. Those thugs that
elected to use them are now dead. There was no widespread looting. The French
Quarter is high and dry.
The levee break is now about repaired. The west side residents are now going
back in to high and dry homes to recover their valuables. Some are even
reporting home conditions the same that they left. Yes, the low east side is
under water to the roof line until the pumps kick back in after the levee is
safe. Sad to say the garbage "toxic" water will have to be pumped back into
Lake Ponchetrain for eventual cleanup, and it will be cleaned up. It will take
time to repair the water, /sewage, and power utilities, but they are coming
along, and then people can move back home, as appropriate.
Yes, there are quite a few that are dead from the storm - drowning, and there
never would have been any federal troops in time to prevent that. They pretty
much belong to the groups that refused to leave, and don't believe for a moment
that many don't own cars that are currently under water, as is the case for
many, many of the refugees.
We're now completing the rescue period and rapidly moving into the recovery
period. That will take about 3 months, but it is getting done. The refugee
centers are very well policed with no problems. We are getting massive federal
help, and from states, corporations, individuals, etc. Refugees are being
offered jobs where appropriate. New Orleans based banks are already opening
branches in other cities. Some banks are actually honoring other banks
accounts.
As far as for people like bilbo, rambo, and the rest of the sick-minded atheists
populating this ng, well, they are truly a sad lot. No matter what, they can't
wait to blame President Bush. Yes, I'm sure there will be some faults found
with slow movement, just as there are laws that prevent the President of the US
from federalizing everything and moving in on his own. It takes appropriate
legal state authorization.
The hurt are anxious to blame somebody/everybody else, but many of us see a
tremendous job well done.
The constant repetition from Fox and CNN is that the response to the needs of
the refugees is nothing short of amazing (quote).
Bilbo *should* has remained high and dry as he always was, with his beer and
power for his internet connection and his air conditioning. The refineries
around his location are coming back on line but need outside power as they are
not self reliant. So biblo should not even have a line at the gasoline
station.
But still, thanks for the MRE's and the thoughts.

That's for your authorities to decide, they aught to know we don't.
We said, "Need any help?" That's what they asked for, that's what they

You have had some pretty poor Presidents and over here most people
think Bush is possibly even worse than Reagan was. It is clear that
you cannot wait to blame Clinton who stands head and shoulders above
Bush.

Yes, I'm sure there will be some faults found

They why has such legislation not been passed to allow for proper
coordination and control in emergency situtations so help can be
planned in advance to ensure a speedy reaction?

The hurt are anxious to blame somebody/everybody else, but many of us see a
tremendous job well done.

For several days there was a clear paralysis at the top. There was
certainly no leadership and even know all he seems to be doing is
a catch up public relationship excercise. From what I saw of him down
there he was seemingly still out of touch. The USA deserves better
than him.

But still, thanks for the MRE's and the thoughts.

The Atheist Coalition isn't an atheist organization made up of

members are sending donations to the hurricane victims?
Only in Parsifal's bigotted dreams.

Actually, I think Parsifal is just misinformed - from what I gather,
Parsifal is an atheist. Not all of us were aware of the existence of
"atheist organizations" - such a critter almost seems
counter-intuitive on a certain level. I only knew of the American
Atheists, not the Atheist Coalition, and even with AA had no idea they
were as well-organized as they appear to be.

Why aren't they aiding the refugees of NO? I'll be glad to accept a "they are
helping as an organization".

That doesn't even make sense.

So, I guess American Atheists isn't an American organization?
The Atheist Coalition isn't an atheist organization made up of
several atheist organizations? And, none of them or their
members are sending donations to the hurricane victims?

There's also the Freedom From Religion Foundation. You have to dig a
little on their website (I don't think they update their home page very
often) but they're also calling for everyone who can (no matter what
their beliefs) to donate to effective, secular organizations such as the
Red Cross.

Wow, a whole $1000. Even Cuba sent more than that.

And now you know why atheism is so bad for the country in general.

However, there are many secular organizations that atheists contribute to.

What have *you* done?

That's none of your damn business.

Finally, something that resembles an answer! Pity that it isn't an
answer, though...
In other words, you've done nothing.

*New Orleans had about 2 days advance notice, and you chide the country
for not
having the NG stationed in place.
There are hurricane every fucking year.

Too bad one doesn't blow up your dumb ***** every year.

Are you threatening people now, duke?

*The city is inaccessible due to flooding, no communication, no
electricity
Journalists, tv crews were there...
*I may not appreciate your hatred for God
We don't hate god since we can't hate something that doesn't exist, we
hate goose-stepping moron like you.

No, you hate God because you hate what his love stands for.

Stop lying. We don't hate nonexistant entities.

*Thank you President George Bush.
Yes, thank you for FINALLY proving how stupid you are. Let's hope that
THIS TIME, Americans will learn their lessons...

Just think, we could have had the internet inventor or billy bob botox for
president.

Which would've been 100x better than a cowpoke who came from New England...
