Ohio educators to be applauded |
In a lesson plan approved for use in Ohio's tenth-grade biology classes, the
state school board has decided that science teachers have the green light to
critically analyze evolution.
Another step toward the truth!!

I wonder if fundies would be interested in a CRITICAL analysis of
creationism being allowed in schools.

Hmmm. Now *that* is a novel concept that *really* needs to be pursued further.
I'm quite sure they will be tickled, well, maybe not pink, but purple, anyhow... :-)

Evolutionary theory has nothing to fear from critical analysis.
Creationism, on the other hand has a lot to fear from critical
analysis.
I wonder if the same standards of evidence and criticism will be
applied to both models?

What model? How can you critically analyze creationism? Is there a
coherent claim being made over and above "God did it?"

By tenth grade, i sure hope they are exposing their students to critical
analysis. being able to analyze without preconceived biases is a
fundamental skill everyone should have and is a basic part of science. I
mean, if they wanted things accepted on faith, they'd been reading a
bible. Right?
