Ohio poised to become the 38th state to pass a Defense of Marriage
Act, Against Evil Godless Homosexuals.
Ohio is poised to become the 38th state to pass a Defense of Marriage
Act, with only the governor's signature needed to make the bill a law.
The state House passed the bill in December and last week, the Senate
approved it by a vote of 18-15.
The bill confirms that marriage in Ohio may only be entered into by
one man and one woman. It goes farther than most other state DOMAs,
banning recognition of Vermont-style civil unions and domestic partner
benefits to state employees, as well.
Governor Bob Taft has publicly given his support for the bill but when
contacted by state pro-family groups, the Governor's office stated
that they are keeping a tally of calls for and against DOMA. For this
reason, Gov. Taft needs to hear from pro-family Ohioans today!

Please contact the Governor today and thank him for his support of the
Defense of Marriage Act and encourage him to sign the bill into law.

That'll last about five minutes in front of the SCOTUS as a violation of
"full faith and credit" in the Constitution:
Article IV
Section 1. Full faith and credit shall be given in each state to the public
acts, records, and judicial proceedings of every other state. And the
Congress may by general laws prescribe the manner in which such acts,
records, and proceedings shall be proved, and the effect thereof.
Section 2. The citizens of each state shall be entitled to all privileges
and immunities of citizens in the several states.
Let that soak into the rock on top of your shoulders, moron.

This kind of crap is why we need a war. The country doesn't
need a Martin Luther King for this issue. It needs to progress
by several orders of magnitude before a Martin Luther King
would even begin to be feasible. We need a war, just like
we needed a war in the 1860's, because it is too far gone for
anything else.
Gays ought to form paramilitaries like the IRA to strike
at corporations and businesses that engage in discrimination
with the blessing of ***** states like Ohio.

well.. not much "harm" done.. as long as Ohio is "poised" we can live with
that.. Just look at how long George Bush (the president) has been "poised"
to do first one thing and then the other.. And that is according to
Condoleeza Rice.. LOL.. Seems Bush was "poised" before so many of our
disasters and horrors, that if he ever actually became "unpoised" , maybe
those disasters and horrors could have been prevented.. With that example,
as long as Ohio is "poised" we have nothing to worry about..

Anyone remember that "Clear Strategy", Bush was
peddling a while back? Why is he still focused on his
failing trial and error process? The longer he refuses
to accept the realities of the horrors he has created,
the longer troops will have to die for his attempt to
save face. Doesn't reality mean anything any more? Or
is everyone really that confused? I doubt it, but the
sooner Bush gets the word the sooner he'll learn just
how useless it is to continue to try to blunder his way
