Darwinism is a scientific theory and as such is amoral. Morality has
to do with good and evil. Science is about what is, not the values
thereof.

When a Christain commits a crime it might be deemed a significant part
of the story.
When an atheist or an evolutionist commits a crime it's not suprising
and therefore
their godlessness is not a newsworthy part of the story.
Additionally, when a criminal claims to be religious, but is actually
an atheist,
it's a called lying to elicit sympathy from the jury, judge or parol
board.
All this is true because when a person claims theselves to be atheist,
society
does not gather from this any expection that the person is moral or
honorable.
Atheism has no objection to evil acts.
