As pleased as I am that the US public is finally getting the message,
there's nothing else to get excited about. The Dems are sitting on
their hands, waiting for the Sun to explode. Two out of three people
believe that Republican leadership is in the sewer, and the Dems refuse
to find their voice. (They have "Bullshitters Block"?). They refuse to
address the concerns of constituents eager to have leaders speak for
them.
Roberts? He's too intelligent.
Alito? He's the real deal.
Katrina? We don't know what to say.
NSA Wiretapping? We have to study the implications.
Iraq War? We don't want to side with protesters.
GOP corruption? Ooo.
Bush Government secrecy? We don't want to get phone calls when we've
gone to sleep.
If you think that your Democratic Party leaders give a ***** about
anyone but themselves, cite that concern in their behavior.

Not sure if it matters. Once the economy goes great guns in the summer,
everyone will forget Bush's little escapades into Iraq and the occasional
foray into Democratic -- erm, sorry, that's international -- spying, as
there are far more important issues to worry about such as who's going
to date whom in American Idol or whether Paula Abdul will be romantically
interested in any of the contestants, and we will reelect all of the
Republicans and throw out the Democrats, who are obviously causing the
problems now by not being patriotic enough to our Flatliner-In-Chief.
