Opinion of alt.atheism about Quran code 19 |
Many Muslims who opose to my atheism use as argument the secret code
of 19 hidden in Quran. I can tell at least following:
1) Quran is written 30 years after Mohammed's death. During that time
it is possible to choose which ones of his speechs can be included and
which ones can not be included.
2) The book "Quran's ultimate miracle" has about two pages to tell
that it is impossible to get a phrase from head that is 19 letters
long (Bismilahir Rahmanir Rahim). I could make a lot of them after
just five minutes of thinking in language where vocals are not
arbitrary (like Arabic ) but obligatory.
3) Collecting of 171 surras to make them divisible by 19 is quite
easy.
4) The fact that total number of some letters is divisible by 19 is
statistically expected in every language that has more than 25 letters
in alphabet.
5) I have heard that Khalifa (author of the book about code 19) did
not count some words which should be counted, or even changed text of
Quran to make it compatible with his "theory".
6) It is possible to satisfy some complex constraints in literature .
For example I translated Yesenin's poetry, conserving rhyme, meaning
and rhytm into artificial language Toki Pona with only 120 words. I
wrote one story where every word begins with same letter. I wrote
another story where you can read it in standard way (where it is story
about alcoholism) or skipping every second row (it becomes porno
story). And I am nor writer nor professional translator. Professional
writers can do much more. I am impressed with rhyme and rhytm of
Dante's divine comedy, and translators who translated this book
managed to keep it.
I would like to hear more opinions.
