Object: Orrin Hatch Interview
Did anyone see the Orrin Hatch interview on C-Span (I believe)
yesterday afternoon? He basically said 'no one' should be blamed
for the debacle surrounding hurricane Katrina. What is wrong with
these Republicans? Are they living in some other universe or
something? (I still can't get over some of his remarks.)

Many of us in Utah have grown immune to Senator for Life, Boring Orrin
Hatch's comments. He's just a fool. Laugh at him like the rest of us.
Don't you just love that whiny voice?

IIRC he was interviewed remotely by Bill Bonds of Channel 4 in
Detroit. Bill asked him if what in a few years we find out that
Clarence Thomas really is a porn freak. Orin threw a fit an walked
off.

Bill Bonds. One of my favorites despite that fact he was an obnoxious
drunk. He's doing furniture store commercials with a rug on his head
now. Might even be his voice in the Wallside Windows ads.

I forgot Bill got fired from his 1 million dollar a year job because
of his alcoholism. That's quite a fall.

Republican incompetants are fine and dandy-especially when Utah wasn't
devastated. If the Fed Gov. would have been run by Democrats he'd be
at the 'head of the pack racing for the hangman's rope.'

That's just generally how people are. When they're to blame, they act
like _no one_ should be to blame. When it's someone else, they're all
too happy to point fingers. Humanity as a species is composed almost

That's OK, the Party of Blaming Bush For Everything will be clamoring

Have you looked carefully at his FEMA chief? This was an accident waiting

Then explain those buses in the parking lot, and why the mayor delayed
calling for mandatory evacuation, and why the Superdome didn't have
supplies of water and food.

No I think we down here should clamor to slap an export tax on every
gallon of gas that leaves the state. If disaster relief is DIY now, then
we should add about $2 per gallon on all gas leaving the state until we've
finished rebuilding.
