Exactly. I had no idea colour film was available before WWII.
Neither did I.
All the books I have containing photographic art are black and white.
I generally prefer that to color.
I also prefer crative black and white movies.
Have you ever seen Night of the Hunter with Robert Mitchum?
Directed by Charles Laughton and some of the best use of black and
white and shadow and light I've ever seen.
Btw, I saw Sin City over the weekend.
