KENTUCKY: LAWMAKER PLEADS NOT GUILTY An Indiana congressman caught with
a loaded pistol at Louisville International Airport last month pleaded
not guilty to a misdemeanor charge of carrying a concealed deadly
weapon. The airport police say the congressman, John Hostettler, a
Republican, tried to pass through a checkpoint with a Glock 9-millimeter
in a carry-on bag. Mr. Hostettler's lawyer declined to comment.
