Anyone seen this messy little piece of silliness? Just finished watching
it. What a crock of hooey! And to think I was so disgusted by this movie
that I walked out of the theater 20 something years ago before anything too
terrible even happened. Apparently I've gotten quite jaded in my old age ;)

I've been trying to get my hands on it for years. It was banned here and
has only just been released on DVD for the first time. I have this
thing...the more they tell me I can't see a movie, the more I want it! I
won't rest until I get a copy of the recently banned "Ken Park", I don't
care how bad it is!! It was the same with "The Last Temptation of Christ"
which was also banned here. Only today I got the uncut version of "Zombie
Flesh Eaters"!

Seriously, while I can understand your curiousity, it is simply AWFUL and
not worth a penny.

Never heard of it :)

Really! I saw that on Bravo a year or so ago.

Oooooh! Don't think I've seen that. However, I have seen "Zombie Holocaust"
and that as flat nasty :P

From Larry Clark, the same guy who made "Kids" and "Bully"

It was the same with "The Last Temptation of Christ"

which was also banned here.

It was eventually released. I've got the DVD now.

ZFE is Lucio Fulci's rip off of George Romero films...it's also called
"Zombi" or just "Zombie"..it's pretty good for low budget gore trash, but it
was so heavily hacked on video, the pirate copy I got was incoherent...but
the DVD is totally intact, including the "eye ball piercing" scene. Mia
Farrow's sister Tisa is in it! The music is good.....the zombies have their
own theme music.
Bip bip bip bip dooooo doooo doooo doooo daaahh bump bah bah bah bah bah bah
:-D
It's far more enjoyable than ZH...that paper mache make up is soooooo bad!
I'm not as sick as this message may make me seem...I just like horror
movies!

I've seen it, long ago. It was graphic in its violence but little else was
redeeming. But I do love horror movies. If you want to see the latest in
well done horror you pretty much have to take a look at the foreign films.
"Haute Tension" from France or many of the Asian horror movies like "The
Eye", "Into the Mirror", and "A Tale of Two Sisters" (to name a few) are
better than most American horror.

Cool, thanks for the info. Frankly, I think just about anything would be
better than that piece of crap. Shoot, I'd rather sit through a "Nightmare
on Elm Street" move (and I think they're terrible tripe).

It is a classic of the genre. Of course, the genre is 'extremely low
budget, gratuitous violence soaked trash.' But still, it's a classic.
