OT: PC and the N-Bomb |
One doesn't have to read AA long, before one comes across a word so casually
thrown about, one might think it to be civil and/or appropriate. An
impression granted great weight by its inclusion in multi-screen diatribes
on the necessity for "sensitivty" towards others. Confused? Well I'm not
talking about the 6-letter N-bomb. Use of that term by anyone other than
black comedians, as we all know, is justifiable cause for instantaneous
execution with extreme (pardon the pun) prejudice. No, I'm talking about
the 4-letter N-bomb that for some nutty reason comes across as offensive to
Jews. Why should Jews mind if the term is abused so often and cliched to
the point where real Nazism becomes so triivialized that one thinks of it as
having been just a few bad hair days. The authors of such screed seem to
not be bothered as they throw that word around with gay* abaondon. Ah, but
PC is just a tool to be used against other people. After all, noone could
ever be offended by li'l ol' sensitive me.
*Fine print: The use of the word, "gay" in this post is in no way
derogatory, defamatory or otherwise descritpive of any homosexuals, living
or dead or of the homosexual community at large. This message was written
by a professional driver on a closed track. Your mileage may vary.

I have read the rest of your post several times and have no idea
which word you are talking about.

He's talking about the word "Nazi".
That's no more "inappropriate" a word than "Democrat" or "Republican".

Tell me more about how sensitive and fair-minded you are. I never get tired
of hearing it from the likes of you.

Al proceeds to prove the point.
