Object: OT: Return of the Jedi
Now that donkey Dan has "broken" the fraud document story (as if Blather
could break wind with a bean burrito and 3 hours time) the Republicans have
decided that it's time to ID those who fixed the story:
<quote>
"Did Bill Burkett, Democrat activist and Kerry campaign supporter, who
passed information to the DNC, work with Kerry campaign surrogate Max
Cleland? Did Bill Burkett's talks with 'senior' Kerry campaign officials
include discussions of the now discredited documents? Was the launch of the
Democrat National Committee's Operation Fortunate Son designed with
knowledge of the faked forged memos? Terry McAuliffe said yesterday that no
one at the DNC or Kerry campaign, 'had anything to do with the preparations
of the documents,' but what about the distribution or dissemination?
"In an effort to regain the trust of the American people CBS should not only
investigate the process that led to the use of these documents but they
should identify immediately those engaged in possible criminal activity who
attempted to use a news organization to affect the outcome of a Presidential
election in its closing days."
</quote>
Talk about 70's flashbacks, we've got ourselves some Nixon-style election
shenannigans, only this time it's donkey forgers instead of Rep burglars.
As donkey Dan was so proud of saying, "The cover up is worse than the
crime."

The Republicans are also refusing to have a CBS moderator for one of the
debates.

Same thing, blessed relief. Better than Rolaids.

This year it'll just be the second day of the lawsuits over recounting

The old farts in Florida couldn't handle punch cards. I wonder what
makes them think their heads won't be spinning, voting electronically.

Uphill! Both ways!
BTW Scientific American has weighed in with an article about electronic
voting machines. Odd that nobody is talking about Venezuela and how they
fudged even with the paper tallies.

Yes. The morning after the 4th of November. When the voting is over, the
election is decided, and the fucking political posts in this NG drop to
less than 50%. Maybe.
