OT: Save the planet (no not this one, the Red one)! |
http://www.space.com/scienceastronomy/mars_ice-age_031208.html
Mars is a planet that is no doubt populated by evil carbon-emitting
corporations. As good citizens of the solar system, it is imperative that
we help out the inhabitants of the red planet who have so foolishly
despoiled their environment. I am hereby calling for an emergency program
of carbon-neutral offsets for the Martians. We should immediately begin
accepting cash payments from the Martians in exchange for reducing our own
carbon footprints on Mars. Come on folks, let's all band together in a
brave move of intergalactic solidarity. It's time for us to extend the hand
of friendship and show those Martians how much we care!
PS. A few "Save the Red Planet" benefit concerts might be nice too.

And failing that, the NeoCons will inavde Mars on the pretext of
having WMDs, the whole war will be financed entirely on a taxcut for
the rich!
