OT: Shortest, lamest incumbent bounce in history: 1.2% now |
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/Presidential_Tracking_Poll.htm
After over-the-top hyperbole and wildly inaccurate claims of Bush
getting a double digit bounce from the lackluster RNC, the new
republican rasmussen poll shows bush with a meager 1.2% point lead.
Gee, considering that even people like Bush's dad got a 16 point bounce
and still lost to clinton, Bush's so-called bounce was absolutely
fucking pathetic. If Bush can't do any better than this then he better
just hang it up and resign right now. His best efforts have done no
better than 1.2%. Bush's numbers are only likely to drop further from
here. Bush manipulated his convention to be as close to labor day as
possible so he could look like he was leading at that traditional
benchmark point. But at this rate, Bush may actually be a couple points
behind by tomorrow ;) LOL!

One can only hope. But as far as this election is concerned,
realistically, how much of a bounce could either candidate hope to
achieve? There's only a small margin of potential voters left who are
not already locked in stone as to their choice in November. Quite
frankly, John Kerry could be caught "in flagrante delicto" with a
Boston debutante on November 1st, and I'd still cast my ballot for
him, considering the alternative, while I have Republican friends who
would still vote for Bush if he went on national TV on the same date
and admitted "yeah, we lied about the WMDs, because you're a bunch of
gullible suckers, and by the way, I'm re-activating the draft on
January 21st, in the interest of Homeland Security".
Of course, it's because of the likelihood of the latter part of the
spurious Bush quote being true that I bring this up.
Seriously folks, any of you out there have teenage sons?
Expect a draft if Bush gets elected.
Vote accordingly.

I don't think gender will be an issue. The articles I've read indicate that
both male and female will be drafted. One article whent into much detail
about the female side of it because they don;t already have the database for
females that they do for males.
Expect a draft if Bush gets elected.
Vote accordingly.

Talk about gullible suckers, it's the Democrats who have been talking
about a draft, probably because of their inability to quit fighting
Vietnam-style wars of occupation.
Vote accordingly.

This guy meets an attractive woman at a club and they hit off really well.
A little dancing, a late dinner, and back to her place for a different sort
of dancing.
They fall asleep together...she wakes him up straddling him, and once
they're done making love and are just lying there, he looks around her room
and sees a photo of a good-looking man.
"Who's he? Your brother? A boyfriend?"
She smiles, kisses him long and slow, then says, "No. That's me."

Bush and Kerry internal polling numbers suggest that the real figure is

After over-the-top hyperbole and wildly inaccurate claims of Bush
getting a double digit bounce from the lackluster RNC, the new
republican rasmussen poll shows bush with a meager 1.2% point lead.
He bounced harder than that when he fell off his bike.
He must have hit an election year pretzel on the campaign trail or
something :) I'm not sure what his excuse was, aside from being stupid,
for falling off the (nearly) idiot proof segway.
To paraphrase Dilbert, you can't make anything idiot proof because
idiots are so ingenious. Give Bush another four years and who knows
what new forms of idiocy he will come up with.

Cut him some slack. He was upset because his library burned down and was a
total loss. Three books including one he had not finished coloring and his
favorite crayon.
Besides. "1" is a digit and "2" is a digit so that's two digits and two
shots is a double so two digits must be a double digit.
