OT: Turn irony meters off and move them far away from computer |

Mahathir recently distinguished himself by telling an Islamic political
conference that "Jews rule the world ... they get others to fight and
die for them." Plus other anti-Semitic slurs.
So, later at the Pacific Rim leaders conference in Thailand, U.S.
President George W. Bush sought out Mahathir and told him his comments
were "reprehensible."
"I said they're divisive and unnecessary. I didn't yell at him. I just
told him," said Bush. "He knew how I felt, there's no question about
that," said the American President.

"Designated Rascal and Rapscallion
and
SCAMPERMEISTER!"
When in doubt, SCAMPER about!
When things are fair, SCAMPER everywhere!
When things are rough, can't SCAMPER enough!

<sigh> George, you didn't _really_ have to go and validate the man's
point _for_ him so abruptly like that, now, did you? Because whether
his remarks were true or not, that's what you've just done...
