Yeah, but someone who not only understands "management," but
understands that it is different from "command," *and* understands that
at this moment "command" is what is needed.
A line from Dr. Seuss ran through my head this morning: Where is
Brown? There is Brown: Mr. Brown is out of town!

That the "author of many articles on sexuality and sexual practices" best known
for "the erotic short story 'The Only Fair Game', which may well be the single
most infamous piece of fan fiction in existance" (according to the Wikipedia
article) is knows enough Dr. Seuss to quote appropriate, on-topic parts to
alt.atheism just seems... wrong. ;-p

I think that they may wait a few weeks, then announce his resignation
late on a Friday and hope that no one notices. That seems to be SOP in
such cases. Maybe they'll even give him one of those 'Medal of Freedom'
thingies like they gave Tenet for his screw ups.

Will it be the same as the "backlash" from the Democratic community in

They're probably going to give him an opportunity to resign,
which may require some negotiation to get him to do so without
making too much of a fuss - the media is certainly waiting,
perhaps even slavering, for a post-firing interview with him
so they can get him to dish dirt on everyone else involved
with the management and mismanagement of Katrina relief efforts.

Of course not. They haven't even admitted he's been replaced due to
incompetence. He's "needed elsewhere". The man isn't even going to
