We are losing so many great and famous ones. This weekend:
Althea Gibson - Gifted athelete. She was tos tennis what Jackie
Robinson was to baseball:

Elia Kazan - Movie and stage director won Oscars and Tonys. "On the
Waterfront" and "Death of a Salesman" were directed by him. He was
also criticized for cooperating with the HUAC hearings during the
McCarth period:

Donald O'Connor - Dancer and entertainer. Was in "Dancing in the Rain"
with Gene Kelly. Also appeared on The Colgate Comedy Hour in the
fifties, a favorite of mine. A very funny guy:

That's a shame. I very much enjoyed watching him, and I far
preferred him to Kelly.
