Anti-war MPs give Blair no respite over WMD hunt

Tony Blair's delight at the capture of Saddam Hussein was tempered
yesterday when Labour MPs warned that it had not changed the
fundamental flaws in the legal and moral case for the Iraq war.
Several MPs warned that the Government would come under increasing
pressure to find hard evidence of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) in
Iraq now that its former dictator was behind bars.

Why don't you hear anyone in the US saying this? My first thought
when I heard that Hussein had been captured was "So what? How does
that change the fact that the war was illegitimate in the first
place?"
Apparently, I'm in the minority, though. I just heard on the radio
today that Bushes approval rating (both on the war specifically and
overall) has gone up about 10 points.
I don't see how people can be that fickle. If the war was a bad idea
before we had Saddam, it's still a bad idea now.
